Museums and the Web is an international conference that hosts innovative examples of research and application of digital to the cultural, natural and scientific heritage. MW sees the participation of professionals from around the world: webmasters, curators, educators, designers, managers, directors, scholars, consultants, developers, analysts and publishers from museums, galleries, libraries, science centers, archives.
Thus, it is a great honor for #svegliamuseo to be invited to the Social Media Clinic on April 4th from 9.00 to 10.30 EST. The session will be chaired by Neal Stimler (Metropolitan Museum of Art) and will include Sarah Bailey Hogarty (Fine Arts Museums in San Francisco), Matt Heenan (Eriksen Translations) and Dana Allen-Greil (National Gallery of Art, Washington DC). The presented projects and cases will allow us to observe and reflect on how museums around the world are “waking up” to new audiences and conversations.
Through this participation #svegliamuseo wants to widen its network and open up to new collaborations on an international scale. Besides, it wants to make content of the conference accessible to the members of the community that won’t be able to join: so don’t miss the live-tweeting of our specialist reporters Francesca @ThePorden & Valeria @mapnoterritory, together with our official account @svegliamuseo!
