We are thrilled to announce that #svegliamuseo will participate at the Museum Computer Network Conference #MCN2041. The event explores the different innovative forms of digital in the cultural sector and will be held in Dallas, from 19th to 22th November.
From mobile to digital fabrication, from social media to open data, Museum Computer Network is an organization devoted to everything innovative in the museum field. Active since 1967, it includes a series of activities in support of the advancement of the digital transformation in the cultural sector.
The title of this year’s event is “Think Big, Start Small, Create“. This theme inspired us as it is perfectly aligned with the #svegliamuseo values, based on big ideas amplified by the power of the network. Our participation is made possible by a scholarship that the organization offers every year to emerging professionals and other categories. Follow @MuseumCN on Twitter and keep an eye on the website to keep up to date with next year’s deadlines.
For those who are interested in knowing more about the Conference, here you can check out the program. There is still time to register, you can do it here. For its members – here you can check out how to join – there are also special interest groups. These are communities organized around specific themes or regions, to allow people to exchange resources and ideas.
We will be tweeting live from the Conference, we will blog obsessively and we may also take a selfie with a cowboy hat!
